ABOUT US:
Urban Baristas was founded by Huw Wardrope and Jono Bowman, two Aussie guys that grew tired of the finance industry and the bad chain coffees they were drinking, so they decided to invest their time in something they loved but struggled to find in London: epic Aussie inspired specialty coffee. Their journey started with their first site in Bounds Green circa 2016, with an aim to serve specialty coffee to the London commuter. Fast forward to 2025, and Urban has embarked on expansion via franchising with the first three locations opening in London’s Tooting Bec, New Cross Gate, and White City, with the brand now operating across 16 locations in the capital. They've also sold another 12+ franchises and hope to have a total of 30 stores open by the end of 2026.
